Ben's Vee Dub Shop opened its doors in the fall on 2005 and was received with warm welcomes from the community.


Ben working on his first car.Ben's Vee Dub Shop is owned and operated by Mechanic Extraordinaire Benjamin Kweitek. Ben boasts a 17 year Volkswagen repair and customization experience record. From an early age, Ben showed an aptitude for all things mechanical and a desire to work on them with his hands. At age 14, Ben apprenticed under Ron Rank at Ron Rank's Sport Car Garage in Greenbay WI where he spent 5 years learning the necessary skills to become a proficient mechanic.

He soon settled in Madison, WI where he began working for an all-import car shop. Ben spent 7 years with this shop and was instrumental in the shop's conversion from being all imports to specializing in only Volkswagens.




Ben and his dad building the lobby of his shopIn 2004, Ben made a bold move in an attempt to solidify his financial future by moving to Zimbrik Audi of Madison. After a short stint at the dealership, Ben realized that a career in corporate control were not ideal conditions for his free spirited mind to prosper and perform at its peak. In 2005, Ben made a second bold move by leaving his corporate job to open his own shop.



Today Ben's Vee Dub Shop is booming. We are your one stop shop for all things Volkswagen. We can perform everything from minor manufacturer's maintenance schedules to major engine overhaul and swaps to custom air ride setups to EFI engine tuning to force induction installations. We are an authorized dealer for GIAC Performance Software and ECU Tuning as well as Techtonics Tuning equipment. We use all OEM or OEM-aftermarket products.
